Manuscripts of the Moravian Regional Library in Brno and the Benedictine Abbey in Rajhrad

The majority of newly digitised medieval manuscripts from the holdings of the Moravian Regional Library in Brno come from the holdings of the library of the Franciscan Monastery in Moravská Třebová. These are examples of popular expository texts – the Morals on the Book of Job by Gregory I  and the Postil of Mikuláš z Lyry, complemented in two codices by further texts.
Also now available is a Latin medical work with annotations in Czech from the turn of the 15th to 16th centuries from the Moravian Regional Library in Brno. The summer part of a breviary of the Olomouc diocese dating from the year 1397, from the library of the Benedictine Abbey in Rajhrad, has been digitised.
